Komikon has a new contest for you: the search for the new Voice of Komikon!
Get the chance to be the KOMIKON HOST this November 16!
Contest mechanics:
1) Make a video of yourself, not more than 1 minute with an .avi / .wmv / .mp4 format. Mention your name, why you should be chosen to be the KOMIKON Host for November and say the following spiel:
“See you all at the KOMIKON 2013 on November 16, Saturday from 10 am to 7pm at the Bayanihan Center, Unilab Compound in Pasig City! Visit www.komikon.org, like Facebook.com/komikon.org or follow @komikontweets with #komikon2013 for event updates”
2) Create a word file (.doc or .docx) answering the following questions:
a. Full Name & Nickname:
b. Birthday:
c. Address:
d. Mobile number:
e. Email Address:
f. Occupation & Company or Course & School:
g. Which Komikon events have you visited?
h. Name at least 3-5 local comic books you have read.
i. Have you hosted any pop culture events in the past? If yes, cite which event.
3) Email the video and word file to contests[@]komikon.org with the subject “THE VOICE OF KOMIKON 2013”. If video file is too big, send a link to any of the file sharing sites (Dropbox, Google Drive, Mediafire, etc). Video file must also be compatible or able to be uploaded to Facebook. Incompatible or over-sized videos will be returned for reprocessing.
4) Deadline of entries will be on October 27, 2013 (Sunday)
5) Videos approved by the KOMIKON Committee will be uploaded to the Komikon Facebook event page from October 30 to November 6. Entries uploaded anywhere else will be disqualified. The winner(s) will be chosen based on the quantity of likes & shares, quality of comments and over all appeal to the comics community and notified via email.
6) The winner will win Komikon loot bag and cash to be claimed at Komikon 2013.
