Challenge your creativity by bringing new life, and style to an existing Comics Cover! Join the Cover Recreation Contest for Komikon 2013!
Mechanics:
Recreate an existing local comic cover by changing its art style and/or layout.- Contest is open to all comic book artists except for Professional Artists with published works sold in bookstores.
- Submit a soft copy of the Original Cover, along with your recreated version.
- Entries can be digitally or traditionally rendered.
- Entries should have a resolution of 300 DPI, 6 x 9 inches.
- Email entries to contests[@]komikon.org (remove []), with the subject: KOMIKON 2013: COVER RECREATION CONTEST.
- Only email entries are accepted.
- One entry per person only.
- Deadline of submission is on November 2, 2013.
- Email should include the following information:

f. Occupation & Company or Course & School:
g. Which Komikon events have you visited?
h. Name at least 3-5 local comic books you have read.
Winners will be announced during Komikon 2013 on November 16, 2013, at Bayanihan Center, Pasig City. Winner must present a valid ID to claim the prize. Unclaimed prizes by the end of the event are forfeit.
