Pasasalamat Para sa Komikon 2010

So it’s been two days after the successful Komikon 2010 and we, the organizers, have just gotten around to going online and updating our statuses and websites. For everyone who went to Komikon 2010, we all thank you from the bottom of our hearts. All the hard work and pain that we put into preparing for each event is worth it whenever we hear that the people, both attendees and exhibitors, have enjoyed Komikon. We do acknowledge that a lot of improvements still need to be done, and we know that with all of your help, and continued support, we will be able to do so.

How To Get to Starmall EDSA

Comic artists, fans and enthusiasts are visiting Starmall Trade Hall, Shaw Boulevard cor EDSA this November 13, 2010 for the 6th Annual Philippine Komiks Convention or Komikon 2010!

As Starmall is centrally located, it can be reached via the North or South areas of EDSA, or from the East and West. Please see the instructions below on how to get to Starmall. You may also via an interactive map here or click on the two images below to see the map to Starmall.

From North EDSA

Via MRT
Ride any station (North Ave, Quezon Ave, GMA/Kamuning, Cubao, Santolan, Ortigas) and get off at the Shaw MRT Station.

Exit via the Shangri-la Side (not the EDSA Central side) by taking the escalator/stairs going up. Turn left to Starmall (it is Shangri-la Mall if you turn right). Take the stairs going down at the right, connecting the MRT Station with Starmall. Once inside the mall, look for the escalator or stairs (left side) going down to the second level. You will see the food court area. Look for the Trade Hall Entrance at the far end.

Via Car/Taxi
Drive along EDSA going to the South. After the Ortigas Flyover, take Crossing/Shaw ‘Ibabaw’ by keep to the right side. Just before the EDSA cor Shaw Bouleveard, you will see Starmall to the right. Once inside the mall, look for the escalator or stairs going up to the second level. You will see the food court area. Look for the Trade Hall Entrance at the far end.

Via Bus
Ride any bus going to Crossing Ibabaw, ask to be let off at Starmall, Shaw cor EDSA. The mall entrance is right by the road. Once inside the mall, look for the escalator or stairs going up to the second level. You will see the food court area. Look for the Trade Hall Entrance at the far end.

From South EDSA

Via MRT
Ride any station (Taft, Magallanes, Ayala, Buendia, Guadalupe, Boni) and get off at the Shaw MRT Station.

Exit via the Shangri-la Side (not the EDSA Central side) by taking the escalator/stairs going up. Turn left to Starmall (it is Shangri-la Mall if you turn right). Take the stairs going down at the right, connecting the MRT Station with Starmall. Once inside the mall, look for the escalator or stairs (left side) going down to the second level. You will see the food court area. Look for the Trade Hall Entrance at the far end.
