On November 16, 2013 at the Bayanihan Center, several artist groups and individuals have pledged to auction/donate cash, items and proceeds from sales of merchandise and sketches to their chosen charity during Komikon 2013. We are encouraging everyone to participate and support this fund drive. There will be a Fund Drive Sign Up form for individuals who will be donating. To make sure your contributions are counted, buyers/attendees should sign the form above for every purchase or donation. Some of the artists who have already pledged are:
Komikon Inc. pledges to donate 100% of sales from all Komikon merchandise (Komikon Button, Komikon bag, Komikon shirts, Sulyap) sold during Komikon 2013.
A Red Cross representative will also be present starting 5PM to receive any donations (in cash or in kind) from participating exhibitors, and even from event attendees.
Although it is the responsibility of the participating artists/groups to surrender their collected funds to their chosen beneficiary, at the end of the day, Komikon will be compiling all of the forms to report the total fund raised this Saturday.
