John Eugene Atendido Avila, the Grand Prize Winner for both Hero and Dundee contests is 27 years old and a creative director/ graphic designer at orangebox design studio inc. ( an ad firm cater projects more on prints : magazine/billboards/package design etc. ). He also does some paper crafts ( PAPER TOY DESIGN robox: see http://www.facebook.com/pages/Urban-Paper-Toy-Philippines/146252125393457 ) , loves to illustrate, do character design, photography. He likes being productive when not consumed by office/studio works.
“I just imagine the characters description and i let my creative juices and hand to do the work. 🙂 made some rough sketches on scratch paper, scanned the images and finalized it on Photoshop. Re the color scheme of the character, i just based the color swatches on the logo of HERO Sausage it self.” – John Avila
